SDS-BIONIC Wood Coat is a high-performance coating which protects natural wood. It is designed for use over sealed, stained or painted cabinetry and furniture. It is acid and stain resistant, UV stable and peel and flake resistant. SDS-BIONIC Wood Coat creates a superior barrier against moisture, stains, scratches, salt spray and graffiti. SDS-BIONIC Wood Coat is also cost-effective. Used as a topcoat over standard stains and sealers, it extends the life of the natural wood, protects against damage and reduces the need for expensive refinishing. It lasts longer than traditional finishes. Tough, durable, environmentally sound and free of carcinogens In ASTM D-3363Taber Abrasive tests, SDS-BIONIC coatings scored 39.11. They scored 70-75 on the Rockwell Scale and 7-7.5 on the Mohs Scale. A diamond is 100 on the Rockwell Scale and 10 on the Mohs. This means that the coatings have a high resistance to usual wear and tear. With less than 100g/L VOC it outperforms the most stringent air-quality controls in the US. SDS-BIONIC also measures as being carcinogen free as defined by California Prop 65.
