Marine and Hull

When is an anti-foul not an anti-foul? When it's SDS-BIONIC Marine and Hull Coat.Imagine – a product that works just like an anti-foul but contains no pesticide or poisons. SDS-BIONIC is working towards this with its slick marine coating with very tight metrics. It’s just too smooth and slippery for marine growth to anchor (pun intended) and this reduces significantly the build-up of barnacles and slime that increase drag and fuel consumption. But you don’t need to be going anywhere to use SDS-BIONIC Marine and Hull Coat. As well as steel and composite hulls and underwater running gear including propellers, shafts, struts, strainers and stabilizers, SDS-BIONIC Marine and Hull Coat Covalent molecular bonding system can be used to protect marine infrastructures, dams, concrete pipelines, concrete holding ponds and oil rigs. It has also been tested and approved for use in fish hatcheries. In fact, SDS-BIONIC Marine and Hull Coat is great for the sea and the sea creatures – we’re not against barnacles (they have rights too) – we’re just against them living on the hull of our ships and boats and attaching to our oil rig. Tough, durable, environmentally sound and free of carcinogensIn ASTM Taber Abrasive test D-3363 SDS-BIONIC scored 39.11. It scored 70-75 on the Rockwell Scale and 7-7.5 on the Mohs Scale. A diamond is 100 on the Rockwell Scale and 10 on the Mohs. With less than 100g/L VOC it outperforms the most stringent air-quality controls in the US. SDS-BIONIC also measures as being carcinogen free as defined by California Prop 65. | ||
